Obituary of Rick Driesman

DRIESMAN – Gillis Richard “Rick” of St Thomas has gone home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the age of 64.  Beloved husband of Margaret Driesman (nee. Hiemstra).  Richard is survived by his children Joshua Driesman of St Thomas and Rachel McGuire (Kevin) of St Thomas; grandchildren Isaac McCoubrey-Driesman, Georgia McCoubrey, Julian McGuire and Aurora McGuire.  Rick will be missed by siblings Debbie Driesman (Frank), Nancy Blaak (Hugh), Steve Driesman (Krista) and many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by his nephew Michael Blaak (2017) and his parents Gillis and Jenny Driesman.  Arrangements entrusted to Simplicity Cremation, 125-750 Talbot Street, St Thomas (226-210-1086).  Visitation will take place at Aylmer Christian Reformed Church, 194 South Street W, Aylmer on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment of ashes at a later date.  If desired, donations to Gideons International would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.simplicity-cremation.ca
