Obituary of Ronald Malcolm Macnair

MACNAIR, Ronald Malcolm of Sarnia passed away peacefully with family at his side at Terrace Lodge (Aylmer) on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the age of 93.  Beloved husband of the late Nanette Macnair.  Ronald is survived by children Ken Macnair of Canmore Alta, Malcolm (Laurie) Macnair of Knoxville Tenn. and Fiona (Ron) Otway of Aylmer; grandchildren Jenna (Andrew Aaron) Macnair and Blake (Eleanore) Macnair; great grandchildren Ian and Declan.  Ronald will be missed by his brother Terence Macnair (late Ishbel).  Predeceased by his sister Kay (Ron) Hendry.  Ronald worked at Polysar Corp as a chemical engineer followed by a career as a real estate broker during which he oft served as president of the Sarnia/Lambton Real Estate Board.  Ron’s interests ranged from puns to politics.  Cremation has taken place.  Private interment of ashes in Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia at a later date.  If desired, donations to Terrace Lodge Redevelopment Fund would be appreciated.  Share a memory at www.simplicity-cremation.ca
