Obituary of Ceycle Edward Empey

EMPEY – Ceycle Edward of St Thomas passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Friday, December 1, 2023 at the age of 84.  Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Jean” Empey (nee. Potts).  Ceycle is survived by children Douglas Gable sr; grandchildren Melissa (Ryan) Denman, Michelle (Al) Schirjaev and Douglas Gable jr; great grandchildren Riley, Logan, and Sam.  Ceycle is also survived by his nephew Lloyd (Laurie) Empey and their sons Jeremy and Branden.  Predeceased by all his siblings and by his great nephew Dustin Empey.  Arrangements entrusted to Simplicity Cremation, 125-750 Talbot Street, St. Thomas (226-210-1086).  Cremation has taken place.  Interment of ashes will be held at Tillsonburg Cemetery, 193 Simcoe St, Tillsonburg on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at noon.  If desired, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Share a memory at www.simplicity-cremation.ca
