I first met Carol through our friend Jane, when she joined our Birthday Club. The six of us would get together for good food and a lot of laughs. It was such a privilege to get to know this kind, caring lady.

Our Deepest Sympathy to George, James and Michael and Family
How lucky I was to meet Carol 11 years ago waiting on the transplant list through George. In July 2012, I received the Gift of Life a Liver Transplant and Carol two weeks later. Carol being a nurse helped me so much in all those years. We became great friends getting together often and talking on the phone weekly. We had so much in common, same age, married to good guys, 2 sons,4 grandchildren, the love of watching our grandkids play hockey, the love of birds and Angels.
She never gave up on her battles, only her body did.
I miss her already.

Our deepest condolences to the family. Carol was not only our cottage neighbour but was very a very special person to us and our bird. You were Peep’s protector saving him from the cats and she can always make him sing when she came by even if Peep was moulting. Carol always brought a smile to our faces as a yellow flower brought a smile to hers. We especially loved listening to her family history, chipmunk and bird stories. How she loved to sit on the porch up North and take it all in. Carol was the wikapedia and happy emoji before the internet.! Sharing her knowledge and happiness when others where not well.
